Research and education is encouraged. Submission of a thesis or dissertation is mandatory. For submission to the examining board, the writing will need to be  of a level suitable for publication. All papers with high standards and thesis with original or unusual work or findings will be published in entirety while other thesis submitted will be published in the form of abstracts and summaries in the Journal of the M. Ch. (Ophthal). This publication will be available in its printed version twice yearly and will be available online at all times for research and study. Efforts are underway to obtain "Indexed status" for this specialist journal.
